In the spirit of Ubuntu, TASTE THE CULTURE is a partnership between Michaelle, The Caribbean Nightingale, and Yovonne Nsabimana, founder of Ngoma y'Africa Cultural Center. Our objective is to give a platform to Utah Women Chefs of African descent who may or may not be immigrants.

We're looking forward to hosting you at our upcoming Food and Dance series where in addition to a delicious African and Caribbean dishes, there there is Drumming and Dancing by Ngoma y'Africa Cultural Center. Be sure to sign up to our Newsletter to get announcements about PopUps!

Our office is headquartered at Poetry on Main in downtown Salt Lake City. We mainly host our Pop-Ups at this location where you can shop our products on site as well. In the near future, the public will be able to pick up delicious Afro-Caribbean dishes prepared with care by our dedicated team of women chefs. Stay Tuned!
